It has begun!

As if I needed an additional distraction from my everyday job, I am starting to blog! I find my thoughts to be quite humorous and I thought it would be fun to share since I get a lot of joy out of reading other peoples everyday thoughts!

Happy Cinco de Mayo by the way! Perhaps I should look up Cinco de Mayo on Wikipedia to see what I'm actually celebrating. It has already been a very useful day for Wikipedia. Apparently, I didn't pay any attention to the news and missed out on the devastating cyclone to hit Myanmar. Then I got to wondering what a cyclone really was and if it differed from a tornado. Turns out it's actually more like a hurricane...I think. The terms used on Wikipedia were very technical but it was still useful and spurred many more questions which I eventually made my coworkers check out so I could write my first blog! ps-Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride after the Mexican army beat the French army.

Today is also an exciting day because my hair is now long enough that it covers the company name on my work polo. I don't really have a goal for the length of my hair but considering the thickness, it's much more manageable the longer it gets. I just keep looking down and admiring the coverage of the company name. It's nice.
