Last week I blogged about my new Wii Fit and how much I enjoyed it. Now, it appears that my after work schedule will be as follows:
5:30-6:00 Feed & Play with Andy
6:00-6:30 Wii Fit (update: the advanced step class makes me feel so uncoordinated!)
6:30-9:45 DR. MARIO RX!!! (with a small break for dinner)
9:45-11:00 Silly summer TV watching
Yes, that's right, there is now a Dr. Mario game for the Wii. My life is complete. This is my all time favorite video game! I'm not going to lie - I'm really good at it! In college we'd sit in our front living room and play for hours and hours! We coined the term "tinklebutts" to describe the blocks that are dropped on your opponent. The only complaint that I had prior to this version was that the computer was almost too easy to beat and some of my roommates just couldn't beat me. Sometimes they would only play against me if I promised not to "tinkle" on them. But now with the WiFi connection, I can play other players that really give me a run for my money - I was so pumped when I actually lost to someone! This game is super fun again!
And poor Brian. I am so excited about the game that I make him play against me for hours. I was on level 20, medium speed and Brian on level 3, slow speed for him to have a chance at beating me. Yes, that's my 84 viruses vs. his 16. What a good sport! Despite me kicking his butt he did offer me a playing tip on how to speed drop the pills. I was actually kinda embarrassed that I didn't pick up on this tip before! But now, I'm even more dangerous!
When we played it all the time in college, we used to dream about Dr. Mario and our strategy - everything we'd see, we would relate back to Dr. Mario game play. I can't wait for my mind to be invaded by this terrific game again!
